20 weeks

To say this pregnancy is flying by, would be an understatement! I can't believe it's already halfway done (technically, past halfway, I'm now 21 weeks). I guess all the craziness at work and the craziness of keeping up with Landon's big brother has really distracted me from watching the calendar. I'm beginning to get a little overwhelmed at the thought of all that needs to be done between now and March. Eli is getting a new big boy room!

So far this pregnant has been very smooth. The constant nauseous, horrible headaches, and utterly exhausted feeling disappeared around 15 weeks. I haven't had any leg cramps (yet) like I did with Eli. Although, I don't remember when those actually started.

I had my 20 week ultrasound a few days ago, and everything looked good. Landon was breech, but we aren't worried about that since we know he'll be a c-section. The tech had a hard time getting pictures of the chambers of the heart because he was turned, behind my belly button, and snuggled up to the placenta. She assured us there was nothing to worry about, but also said my dr will probably have us come back in for another u/s in a few weeks.

She got some good pictures of Landon's face, and thinks that he will look like Eli and Wesley. How se could tell, I don't know, but I'm ok with that. : )

Landon weighed in at a whopping 12 oz and was about 10" from head to toe. That put him in the 43rd percentile.

We're so excited to meet this little guy. He's already so loved!

30 hours in Texas

This weekend Puddin' and I headed out on a quick 30 hour trip to Texas.  Tia (what Eli calls my sister, Caitlin) had no idea I was tagging along too.  I sent her this picture from the airport.

Friday ended up being a very long day.  I worked all day, then we drove to Atlanta and flew to Dallas, with a layover in Charlotte.  Even with the layover in Charlotte, flying to Texas SURE beats that 13 1/2 hr drive!  We crawled into bed around 2 am.

Dad and Clark went to the Auburn v. Texas A&M game. .... Can I get a War Eagle?!  That game was AWESOME!  And Dad and Clark even got a little TV time.

I was super excited about finally getting to meet this little fella, my nephew, Aidan!  He's 6 weeks weeks old and the most precious thing!

I also got some great one-on-one time with Maddie.  She even let me do her hair Saturday morning!    : )

I'm normally not one for mirror pics, but how sweet is this?!  And that little guy can sleep!  I think he was passed out most of the time I was out there!

And because I always love a good comparison, here's Eli in the same little Auburn jacket...compliments of Uncle Z and the late '80s!

While the guys were at the game, we tried to do a little shopping, but were unsuccessful in everything we went out for.  Our outing wasn't a total fail though, we did have lots of fun on the carousel! : )

After getting to the house about 2am on Saturday, Puddin and I left about 6:30 Sunday morning.  Maddie and Aidan even got up to tell us bye!

I sure wish Texas was closer.  The trip was really short, but it was a GREAT weekend.  And, it was nice to be home, more than 700 miles later, all before lunch!  Thanks, Puddin', for letting me tag along with you!

The Pumpkin Patch

I love fall!  There's so many fun things going on:  like trips to the pumpkin patch!

Last weekend we made our annual trip to the "Puntin Patch" (as Eli says).  It wasn't very fall-like weather, but it certainly wasn't as bad as it has been in recent weeks!

Eli loves getting pulled in the wagon!

Eli's BFF/girlfriend, Abigail, met us at the pumpkin patch!

When did these babies get so big!
(Abigail is getting a little sister soon...we're excited Landon will have a gf too!)

The daddies and the babies...this picture cracks me up!

Love my little (and growing) family!

After walking through the pumpkins, these two found some shade to run, play, and jump in.

Love these two!  I pray their friendship grows for a long time!

Here's past years' "puntin patch" trips:

Eli's 3rd Birthday!

I'm only about six weeks late, but between the start of school and being pregnant (exhausted), I'm a little behind on my blogging!

Nana, Puddin', and Eli excited about the big 3!

With a late August birthday, Eli's parties tend to be HOT, so we decided to do a water party this year.  We got a water slide, set up a pool, and some other water toys, and the kids loved it!

Eli was a pro at climbing up the slide.  We had it for the weekend and he probably went down this water slide a couple of hundred times!  : )

Eli and sweet Abigail!

Asher, Selah, Brentley, and Abigail

Eli's buddy, Grayson

Eli requested a Mike and Sully cake for his birthday.  When I ordered it, the lady on the phone said she had never done one, but felt like it shouldn't be a problem.  This cake far exceeded my expectations!  And, it was *delicious* too!!

One of my favorite pictures from the day...

Thanks Matt and Jenna for the new Auburn hat!  Eli needed another one and wears it often! : )

Eli randomly requested a chainsaw (where he got this from??...) for his birthday, and was so excited to actually get one!

The last gift he opened was from Mommy and Daddy, and was our way of announcing Eli's big brother status to our friends and extended family (the grandparents already knew)!  It was such a fun and memorable way to end the party and share our news.  I was 12 weeks the day after the party, and waiting that long sure was hard!

Eli with Ginny and Aunt Katie after the party....can you tell he was T-IRED?!  All that partying and sliding had worn the boy out!

Sometimes I still can't believe this kid is 3 already, but we sure are having fun at 3!
