After Christmas at our home in Phenix City, we hopped in the car and drove to Dothan for Christmas with the Pettys and Burgins. They had been waiting all morning for us to do Christmas, so we jumped on that pretty quickly!
After presents were cleaned up, the kids played with toys while a few others napped. : ) My grandparents dropped by for dinner and we were able to exchange gifts with them.

The more kids you add, the harder it is to get a picture with everyone looking. This is the best we got. I think it's perfect.
The big cousins. Love these two. It was so much fun watching them play and interact together. They're quite a pair and were definitely each other's advocates, arguing whatever cause needed defending!
The day after Christmas, more cousins drove down from Birmingham and came to play and spend the day together. With that many people, and a beautiful day calling our name, we headed to the park!
Obviously the big boys enjoyed it just as much as the kids.
Eli and Maddie spent hours on their "tooters" (scooters). Eli has gotten pretty good on his!
While in Dothan we also cashed in all of these pennies. This is what 20+ years worth of pennies looks like. My brother, sister, and I started saving these back in the early 90s. The stipulation was when it gets full we could have everything in there. We decided we were close enough.
We started out on the floor, but quickly realized we weren't going to make it down there, so we moved all of those pennies to the table.
Dad threw in a $10 bonus for whoever got the closest without going over. Well, we all went over.
After Z and Amber left, we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese. Landon boy drives a mean race car.
Lots of fun was had in Dothan. I sure wish we saw each other more than 1-2 times a year, but we'll take what we can get, and try to cram as much family fun into the few days that we do have! : )
