This weekend Eli ran his first official race! It was a 1k at a local elementary school. He was so excited. He's seen Daddy run numerous races, so he was anxious for his turn! A 1k was the perfect distance (about .6 miles) for this almost 4 year old.

Abigail's Daddy had to come to her rescue towards the end.
But she finished the race like a big girl!

Afterwards, the kids got to play on the playground and they had snowcones and blow-ups for the kids. A fun way to 'run into summer'!
